The Birth Control Patch ruined me!
Hi All,
I’m SO MAD at Ortho-McNeil for ever producing this product. I have been taking the patch for a while and recently I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with a severe pulmonary embolism. I spent 6 days in the hospital recovering and now require the use of anticoagulant medications for the rest of my life!!!
I made this site about 2.5 years ago in the effort to help spread the word and create a community of women that could share experiences on this new product. I had talked with doctors and nurses and had compiled all the Birth Control Patch questions and concerns one can find. I build this so people can find all the questions regarding this technology and then be able to make decisions based on the facts. Now…this ‘new technology’ has proven to do WAY more hurt then help.
